Optimizing a nanopore-based assay for malaria resistance markers (NOMADS)
Objectives
This project aims at:
- Production of an optimized malaria drug resistance assay using nanopore sequencing;
- Build local sequencing capacity;
- Deploy sequencing for national molecular malaria surveillance; and
- Utilizing whole genome sequencing to enhance and augment our understanding of COVD-19 transmission in Zambia.
