National Integrated Community Case Management (ICCM) Programme in Inhambane

Objectives

This project aimed to contribute towards the achievement of Millennium Development Goals 4 and 6 on reducing child mortality and halving the malaria burden respectively in Inhambane province, Mozambique. Building on existing integrated community case management of common illnesses in Inhambane, Malaria Consortium contributed to the revision of the community health worker (CHW) training curriculum and materials for the national programme.
