Construction and evaluation of the immunogenicity and antigenicity of a protein subunit vaccine expressing malaria antigens in plants
Objectives
This project aims to develop a protein subunit vaccine containing whole proteins or immunodominant epitopes of P. vivax that will be selected through bioinformatics (immunomics). This fusion protein could stimulate a protective immune response against the phases of the P. vivax cycle and could even be used as an aid in the diagnosis of malaria, mainly in the latent form of the disease.
