Malaria is a disease of great epidemiological relevance, endangering around 2.5 billion people worldwide. Despite its high relevance, many aspects involved in its pathogenesis are still unknown. Therefore, studies that evaluate pathophysiological processes associated with malaria to better understand the etiogenesis of the condition are of high importance. This project has ILMD resources and uses the ILMD technological platform for its development. Also in 2019, this project received support of around 150,000 reais by FAPEAM Universal Public Notices through the project entitled “Rapid Test for asymptomatic vivax malaria based on specific IgG3 against variant proteins of the MSP1 antigen” and by Fiotec/Fiocruz Public Notice INOVA Generation of Knowledge through of the project entitled “Rapid test for asymptomatic vivax malaria based on specific IgG3 against MSP1 antigen variant proteins”.
