Adaptation to selvatic habitats of the major malaria vectors in Central Africa

Objectives

The objectives of this project are:

1. To study the presence of several species of major malaria vectors in  wild locations of Gabon, in absence of humans.
2. To investigate the genetic variation of these populations.
3. To measure the phenotypic variation between domestic vs wild locations.
4. To investigate their role in the transmission of non-human Plasmodium in wild habitats.
