Ntui Vincent Ntui-Njock
Vincent Ntui-Njock is a highly motivated early-career African research scientist with a strong commitment to malaria epidemiology, drug resistance, genetics, and genomics. He has a multidisciplinary background in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, and Medical Laboratory Technology. He is currently a DELGEME Plus Postdoctoral Fellow at the MRC Unit The Gambia at LSHTM in collaboration with the University of Buea, Cameroon. His postdoctoral research focuses on ‘‘Malaria transmission and genetic diversity of Plasmodium falciparum against chemoprophylaxis and geo-ecological diversity in Cameroon’’. His long-term goal is to contribute to strengthening Africa’s capacity in the genomic surveillance of malaria and infectious diseases. As a Malaria Eradication Scientific Alliance (MESA) Correspondent, Vincent is so excited to contribute to advancing malaria eradication by facilitating knowledge sharing, synthesizing research insights, and reporting scientific evidence from major international conferences.
I am eagerly looking forward to working as a MESA correspondent to assist in the sharing of updates on the recent developments in malaria research to those who are unable to attend.
