Idelphonse Bonaventure Ahogni

Idelphonse Bonaventure Ahogni is a Medical Entomologist and Public Health Researcher with 10+ years of experience at AIRID (Cotonou, Benin) and CREC/LSHTM. PhD and MSc in Medical and Veterinary Entomology, University of Abomey-Calavi (2020, 2014). His research focuses on malaria vector control, insecticide resistance management, and evaluation of novel tools across 10 African countries.

He has led international projects funded by PMI/USAID, the Global Fund, UNITAID, and the Gates Foundation, managing teams of up to 30 researchers. Temporary WHO Consultant on LLIN durability and contributor to WHO prequalification processes. Author of 25+ peer-reviewed publications; presenter at ASTMH, PAMCA, and MIM conferences; peer reviewer for Parasites & Vectors. Member of PAMCA, SERB, and ASTMH. His work directly informs national and international malaria control policy.
