Published: 14/05/2026
This three-day online training workshop, delivered by the Asia Pacific Malaria Elimination Network (APMEN) in collaboration with partners from the National University of Singapore and the Centre for Climate Research Singapore, explores how climate information and modelling can support public health planning and vector-borne disease control. The workshop strengthenes understanding of climate science, climate projections, and practical applications for health systems and malaria elimination.
Across three days, participants learn about climate variability and change, the use of climate models and projections for decision-making, and practical tools and datasets that support climate-informed health planning and disease surveillance.
- Day 1: Understanding Climate Science and Health Impacts
- Day 2: Climate Models, Projections, and Future Risk Scenarios
- Day 3: Applying Climate Information to Public Health Planning
