GLIDE Call for Applications: Disease Elimination & Eradication Course (DEEC) 2026
GLIDE, in collaboration with the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) and The Carter Center, is launching the 7th iteration of the Disease Elimination & Eradication Course (DEEC) in 2026
Course Dates:
- Online: 20 July – 21 August, 2026
- In-Person (UGHE, Rwanda): 31 August – 8 September, 2026
Similar to previous cohorts, GLIDE is primarily accepting country teams comprising a minimum of 2-3 individuals and a maximum of 5 per team.
While there is a limited number of spots available for individual participants, these will be self-funded or sponsored by their respective organizations. NGOs and institutions working in disease programs are encourage to consider financially supporting public health professionals—whether their own staff or others who would benefit from attending DEEC.
