Billy Tene

Senior Editor

Dr Billy Tene is a molecular entomologist with more than 15 years of experience in vector control research, entomological surveillance, and molecular diagnostics. His work has focused mainly on malaria and arboviral diseases across Africa, with a particular emphasis on generating evidence that can improve the control of disease vectors and strengthen public health interventions.
Over the years, he has built a research profile that combines laboratory-based molecular analysis with field-oriented entomological surveillance. This dual perspective has allowed me to contribute to both the understanding of vector biology and the practical challenges of implementing effective control strategies in endemic areas and training programs.
