ASTMH Call for Applications: Donald Krogstad Award
The American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH) is calling for application for the The Donald Krogstad Award. This award supports an early-career Malian scientist pursuing research that aims to blend laboratory and field epidemiological approaches broadly related to solving priority health issues in Mali.
The award provides funding of $25,000 US total for up to two years for scientists from Mali to pursue research in tropical medicine and/or public health with the goal of improving the lives of Malians.
Eligibility:
- Available only to citizens of Mali currently living and working in Mali.
- Early-career1 Malian scientists pursuing research that aims to blend laboratory and field epidemiological approaches broadly related to solving priority health issues in Mali.
- A Master’s degree or higher is desired with a focus on public health, tropical medicine or related field of expertise.
