As antimalarial drug resistance continues to emerge as a threat, this webinar offered a timely space to connect evidence, leadership, and action.
The Parliamentarians and Civil Society African Dialogue on the Urgency to #ProtectTheCure brought together experts and decision-makers to discuss:
- what current data tell us about malaria drug resistance in Africa,
- how political leadership and parliamentary oversight can help safeguard treatments,
- why community engagement and accountability are essential, and
- what concrete steps can be taken now to prevent a reversal of hard-won gains.
