Early warning systems (EWS) are increasingly recognised as important tools for strengthening surveillance, preparedness, and response to vector-borne diseases. By integrating epidemiological, climatic, environmental, entomological, and socioeconomic data, EWS help anticipate periods of increased transmission risk and support timely decision-making. This webinar will share experiences from implementing dengue EWS in Thailand and Viet Nam and discuss system design, data integration, and use in routine surveillance and outbreak response. A panel discussion will explore challenges in adopting EWS and opportunities to adapt these approaches for malaria and other Asia-Pacific countries.
