4 Day Workshop on Introduction to Malaria Parasite Genomics and Bioinformatics
The Infectious Diseases Epidemiology Research Group at the Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research in Tropical Medicine (KCCR), in partnership with the Africa Research Excellence Fund (AREF), is inviting applications for a 4-Day Free Workshop on “Introduction to Malaria Parasite Genomics and Bioinformatics“. This interactive workshop will introduce participants to essential tools, techniques, and applications in genomics and bioinformatics, with hands-on sessions guided by experienced scientists ready to help you advance your research.
Dates: November 25 – 28
Location: Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research in Tropical Medicine (KCCR), Ghana
Requirements:
- Post-graduate students in Ghana
- Postgraduates who will actively apply the knowledge in their project work
- Never attended genomics training
- Willing to attend all four days of the workshop
- Personal laptop or computer
