The International Vaccine Institute (IVI) calls for registration to its 24th International Vaccinology Course: Vaccines in a Changing World- Innovation and Access to explore the expanding field of vaccinology and innovative approaches to improving vaccine access.

Date: 8-12 September 2025.

Location: Held in Seoul (Republic of Korea), Kigali (Rwanda), and Stockholm (Sweden), lectures will be broadcast from all three training locations for a hybrid experience with site-specific activities and local field trips.

Who should apply:

  • While the IVI Vaccinology Fellowship is open only to researchers living and working in low- and middle-income countries, IVI invites researchers from around the world who are working, studying, or conducting research in vaccinology to register for the course.
  • Applicants should have a background in vaccines, biotechnology, public health, or a related field, with professional proficiency in English. The course will be conducted entirely in English without translation or interpretation services.

This year’s course will explore how scientific innovation, alongside the pressing need for equitable access, can meet today’s most pressing and evolving challenges in global health. Through a multidisciplinary lens, we will examine the science, policies, and collaborative efforts required to ensure that vaccines remain a cornerstone of global health in the face of continuous change.
