The Mitigating Antimalarial Resistance Consortium in Southern and East Africa (MARC-SE AFRICA) organizes a webinar on accelerating policy responses to antimalarial drug resistance in Africa, a one-hour webinar to learn about MARC SE-Africa and how our work is aiding faster responses to the growing antimalarial resistance in Southern and Eastern Africa.

Renowned experts on the topic of antimalarial resistance in Southern and Eastern Africa – Prof Karen Barnes (University of Cape Town) and Dr Aline Uwimana (University of Rwanda) – will present the current state of antimalarial resistance in the region and how the work of MARC SE-Africa has informed and supported policy in Rwanda, one of the project countries.

MARC SE-Africa is a regional initiative that develops optimal strategies to mitigate antimalarial resistance through curated response plans, digital health tools, and collaborative efforts.
