LSHTM short on-line course on Infection Prevention and Control in Global Healthcare
The London School of Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) offers a short on-line course on Infection Prevention and Control in Global Healthcare.
This unique online short course is designed to equip nurses and allied health professionals with the foundational knowledge and principles related to the nursing role in infection prevention and control within the context of low resources or austere environments.  
The course will provide students with the opportunity to examine how core Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) principles and practices can be effectively applied across a range of community and healthcare settings.

Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for nurses and midwives (including final year students of nursing or midwifery), paramedics or other allied healthcare professionals who are working or aspiring to work in low resource settings and with an interest in infection control. This short course may also serve as a useful update for alumni of the Professional Diploma in Tropical Nursing.

- There is no formal assessment for the short course and no need to travel to the school for any part of the course.
