DReaM Program: Medical Writing in Global Health Fellowship
Are you passionate about scientific research and storytelling? The DReaM Program invites aspiring researchers to participate in an exciting Medical Writing in Global Health Fellowship designed to equip you with the skills to draft high-quality scientific manuscripts and navigate the world of academic publishing.
This one (01) year, remote fellowship offers hands-on training, mentorship, and structured guidance to develop your proficiency in crafting manuscripts ready for submission to high profile scientific journals. Participants will enhance their understanding of publication processes while refining their storytelling and scientific communication skills.
As a Medical Writing Fellow, you will:
- Learn how to structure manuscripts using the IMRaD format (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion).
- Gain proficiency in academic writing standards and reference tools management.
- Understand authorship recognition, plagiarism avoidance, and copyright compliance.
- Develop techniques for manuscript revision, responding to reviewer comments, and ensuring readiness for submission.
Eligibility:
- Completed a Master degree in any medical field or related area.
- Interest in medical research, academic writing, or publication.
- Familiarity with basic research principles and citation tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong english written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and critical thinking.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to academic writing standards.
- Proactive and self-motivated attitude.
- Collaborative mindset with a passion for mentorship and peer learning.
- Commitment to producing high-quality deliverables.
