ASTMH Call for Young Investigator Award Committee Members

The American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (ASTMH) is seeking applications from Society members who are interested in serving on the Young Investigator Award (YIA) Committee (3-year term).

Eligibility: 

  • Society members who welcome an opportunity to encourage up-and-coming scientists in their career paths.
  • Those planning to attend the November 2025 Annual Meeting in person in Toronto, Ontario, Canada o Strongly encouraged to apply: 
    • The committee is seeking a higher representation of non-U.S. members, especially those from LMICs who already have travel visas.
    • Former YIA presenters. 
  • Members with 10+ years’ experience mentoring junior scientists on their research and career paths.
