Summer School Utrecht: Global Health Ethics & Equity course
The Utrecht summer school is offering a summer course on Global Health Ethics & Equity focusing on urgent topics related to global health ethics and equity.
This interactive one-week summer course will bring together leading thinkers and doers about global health ethics, justice and equity.Like in previous years, the team of experts and participants from all over the world will discuss various urgent topics, for example:
- Ethical consideration in global health research.
- Social justice and human rights.
- Equitable partnerships between high-income country (or ‘Global North’) and Low- and middle-income countries (or ‘Global South’).
- Challenges encountered on the pathway to more just and equitable health systems.
- The role of moral deliberation to navigate ethical dilemmas in global health .
- Ethics in humanitarian crisis contexts.
- Fair access to medicines.
- Climate justice.
Study load:
- Full-time.
- One week, from 14th of July to 18th of July, in Utrecht (the Netherlands).
