Merck Call for Applications: Innovation Cup 2025
Merck is inviting applications for the Innovation Cup 2025.
The brightest students from all over the world meet at the company headquarters to learn from professionals, network, develop business plans and win the Innovation Cup. As part of the Innovation Cup, selected applicants join a week-long summer camp, to work together in a highly stimulating environment.
Date: July 19-25 2025
Place: near Frankfurt, Germany
Eligibility
- Postgraduate Students pursuing a PhD in one of the following fields: Biology, Medicine, Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Computer Sciences, Data Sciences, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering, Related fields
- Postdoctoral Students: Eligible to apply.
- MBA Students: Advanced MBA students or recent graduates with: an interest in the pharmaceutical business or a background in life sciences
- Exclusions: The program is not open to healthcare professionals.
Prize details and benefits:
- travel, accommodation and food expenses are paid for by Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany.
- shared prizes of €20,000 for the winning team, €5,000 for the runner-up and €3,000 for third place.
- selected top performing participants could get an offer for a permanent employment.
- options to implement the best business plans will be evaluated
