Webinar: Leveraging Digital Tools for Health Campaigns, a Demonstration of the SALAMA Tool in Mozambique

The Alliance for Malaria Prevention and the NMCP Mozambique will host the webinar: Leveraging Digital Tools for Health Campaigns: A Demonstration of the SALAMA Tool in Mozambique.

The NMCP will demo the fucionality of SALAMA tool, which was recently used during the LLIN and SMC campaign in two Mozambique’s provinces. The demonstration will cover the entire process, from data collection in the field to monitoring and evaluation using dashboards. This session will highlight NMCP’s experience with the tool and key considerations for countries looking to implement digitalization in their health campaigns.

Objectives:

  • Showcase the Digital Tool: Demonstrate the functionality of the SALAMA tool, highlighting how it was used during the LLIN campaign in Mozambique, from data collection to monitoring and evaluation.
  • Share Best Practices: Present the experience and lessons learned by NMCP in using a digital tool for health campaign management, offering insights that other countries can adopt.
  • Highlight Key Considerations: Identify important factors and challenges to consider when implementing digitalization in health campaigns, focusing on field data collection, monitoring, and dashboard.
  • Promote Digitalization of Health Campaigns: Encourage the adoption of digital tools in health campaigns by illustrating the benefits, such as improved data accuracy, monitoring efficiency, and decision-making.
