Conference: One Health Genomics 2024
The African Centre of Excellence for Genomics of Infectious Disease (ACEGID) hosts the international conference One Health Genomics 2024 to celebrate 10 Years of African Excellence in Genomics and Public Health
As we approach ACEGID’s 10th Anniversary and the grand opening of ACEGID’s new state-of-the-art Genomics Centre, we look back on the tremendous impact the Centre has had in Nigeria as well as throughout Africa: over the past decade, ACEGID has been at the forefront of outbreak response, capacity building, and diagnostic/surveillance efforts.This conference will be a unique forum uniting multiple disciplines in pursuit of solving some of the world’s most pressing health challenges, bringing together world-renowned experts, policymakers, industry leaders, and young African researchers.
The conference will feature keynote speakers, poster presentations, and breakout discussion sessions. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to tour ACEGID’s new genomics centre, which will serve as a hub for cutting-edge research, technology development, and collaborative endeavours.
