ASTMH Call for Applicants: Update Course in Clinical Tropical Medicine and Travelers’ Health
The American Society of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene (ASTMH) has developed this course as an update in the essential components of tropical medicine and travelers’ health. This two-day meeting is designed for physicians and for all other health care providers working in tropical medicine or travelers’ health. Speakers are internationally recognized authorities in the field.

Objectives:
- Prepare patients for overseas travel to Low/Low-Middle Income Countries (LMICs).
- Diagnose and treat patients who have become ill during overseas travel or are recently arrived immigrants and present with syndromes
of fever and other pathologies. - Diagnose and treat individuals living in the tropics and subtropics who are ill.
