TDR Call for Applications: From research institutions to contribute to TDR’s efforts towards implementation research capacity strengthening
TDR, the UNICEF/UNDP/World Bank/WHO Special Programme for Research and Training in Tropical Diseases, based at the World Health Organization in Geneva, Switzerland, is pleased to announce a call for applications from research institutions to contribute to TDR’s efforts towards implementation research capacity strengthening.
The call is addressed to universities or research institutes within the WHO European and Eastern Mediterranean Regions to serve as TDR Regional Training Centers (RTCs).
Eligibility:
- Applications from Institutions located within LMIC within the WHO European and Eastern Mediterranean Regions (see list of countries by region).
- The proposals must be submitted in English.
- Eligible proposals will be selected through a competitive process.
Funding details:
Not defined.
A tentative budget for a year including at least one IR MOOC in the region with an attached in-person training activity for a select cohort of participants in the region is one of the documents to be submitted.
