tropEd Call for Applications: Global Health Summer School 2024
The tropEd Network warmly invites applications to its 2nd online Global health summer school. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from and exchange with experts from 13 African, Asian, European, North and South American tropEd member institutions on current issues in global health, and to find out more about what the tropEd Network has to offer to students and higher education institutions.
Date: 2 – 6 September 2024
Time: 9:30 – 11:00 am; 11:30 – 13:00 pm; 14:00 – 15:30 CEST
Place: Online synchronous (Zoom)
Target audience: The course is relevant to people interested in studying for an MSc degree in global health or with a general interest in global health and the tropEd Network.
Fees:
- This activity is offered free of charge to all participants.
- Certificate of Attendance will be available upon request to those completing at least 80% of the course for an administrative fee of €50.
Programme:
- During the 5 days, participants will learn in 15 x 90 mins sessions about key current issues in Global Health, ranging from violence against women to migration and health, from digital health and prison health, to building social infrastructure and resilience for climate change.
- In addition, participants will be introduced to 13 African, Asian, European, and Latin American tropEd member institutions.
