NHMRC Call for Applications: Development Grants

The National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) is calling for applications for the Development Grants.

Objectives:

  • To expedite the translation of health and medical research outcomes through to commercialisation within a foreseeable timeframe by supporting proof-of-concept research with a feasible commercialisation pathway and a high likelihood of producing protected IP. 
  • The intended outcomes of the Development Grant scheme are increased rates of translation of health and medical research into commercial outcomes, resulting in improved health and medical knowledge.

Funding details:

  • Level of funding is $15,000,000
  • Duration of 1-3 years

Important dates:

  1. Applications open April 17, 2024
  2. Minimum data due date May 15, 2024
  3. Application deadline June 12, 2024
