Asset Africa Institute Call for Applications: Advanced Tools and Techniques for Data Analysis & Presentation

The Asset Africa Institute (AAI) a specialized institute in the research, design and delivery of high-quality and affordable training programs for development workers worldwide is pleased to announce the training workshop on Advanced Tools and Techniques for Data Analysis & Presentation.

Date:  February 5 – 9, 2024

Place: Meridian Hotel, Nairobi, Kenya

Course fee: USD 725 (Group discounts apply). Covers Ten o’clock tea/snacks, buffet lunches, water, writing materials, four o’clock tea/snacks. Participants make own travel and accommodation arrangements.

Overall Objective:

Advanced data analysis and presentation constitute critical skills requirements for project managers/officers, M & E practitioners, scholars and researchers. How a professional analysis, interprets, and presents can data be the difference between average performance and competitive advantage; Indeed, the exponential levels at which data is being produced globally demands data managers who can model, transform information and visually communicate data in a variety of work environments convincingly and professionally using the most effective data analysis and presentation methods.

Due to the rising need for staff to apply R in the large data analysis, this workshop dedicates 2 full days taking participants through Statistical analysis using R. R has a large and active user community. R statistical software is widely recognized for its powerful capabilities in statistical analysis, data visualization, and presentation.

Who should attend?

  • Program Managers, Program Officers, Project Managers, Project Officers, Project Coordinators, Monitoring & Evaluation Practitioners and Specialists, Planners & researchers, Postgraduate students (Masters and PhD), Prospective postgraduate students, Scholars wishing to deepen their grasp in this field
