4th Malaria Vector Symposium (MVS) 2024

Following the third edition of the Malaria Vector Symposium (MVS) 2023, entitled ‘Malaria control prevention and treatment: from the bench to the population’, we invite you to take part in the 4th edition of MVS April 20-24, 2024 ‘Implementation of malaria and neglected tropical diseases control strategies in rural areas and community involvement’.

Date: April 20 – 24, 2024

Place: Hybrid, Online & University of Douala, Cameroon

After the success of the third edition of the symposium, I would like to invite you and the relevant departments interested to the symposium for funding support, presentations, and exhibitions. The symposium will highlight values of inclusiveness, social justice, environmental sustainability, scientific advancement, and education within the broader life science community.

Thus, it will be a free symposium, which supports the participation of schoolchildren, high school girls, young and confirmed researchers, women in science, influential community leaders, and government stakeholders. The venue of the symposium events is generally the University of Douala. While school and high schools are selected for the event with children and girls and affected areas with malaria for the outreach event inside communities. Free counselling, detection, and treatment of common pathologies are provided.
