The 9th PAMCA  Annual Conference and Exhibition 2023 Gene Drive Short Course is now open for applications in English and French. The theme is Novel Vector Control Strategies: From Research to Acceptance and Implementation.

This 3-day training course is designed to provide the basic technical understanding of gene drive technologies and will also cover public acceptance, regulator issues and ecological concerns.

Date: September 15th – 17, 2023

Venue: Skylight Hotel, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Eligibility:

  • This course is open to African graduate students, researchers in biology, medicine, social science, policy makers and health professionals with an interest in genetics and biotechnology.
