Operational viability of Plasmodium vivax with radical cure using Tafenoquin or Primaquin after quantitative G6PD testing in Brazil (TRuST)

The objective of this study is to monitor the implementation of two new tools in the Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS), on a temporary basis (as a pilot project), by the Municipalities of Manaus and Porto Velho, with the support of the Health Secretariats of both States and, at the federal level, of the Ministry of Health, so that, through the data collected by the researcher and team, a dossier is created to support strategic decisions by the Federal Government and serve as scientific and robust evidence for CONITEC in a possible adoption of these tools within the SUS definitely.
