Assessing health system factors influencing the delivery of Intermittent Preventive Treatment using Sulfadoxine Pyrimethamine and Insecticide Treated Net to prevent malaria among pregnant women in the Volta Region of Ghana and Centre Region of Cameroon

Objectives

To assess the health system factors influencing the delivery of IPTp-SP, ITN, and case management of malaria among pregnant women in the Volta Region of Ghana and Centre Region of Cameroon.

Specific Objectives:
1.The delivery appropriateness of IPTp-SP and ITN according to national recommended guidelines to pregnant women attending ANC clinics in the Volta Region of Ghana and Centre Region of Cameroon.
2.The leadership and governance factors related to policy, supervision, and training influencing the delivery of IPTp-SP, ITN, and case management of clinical malaria among pregnant in the study settings.
3.Medicines and products factors related to supply chain management influencing the delivery of IPTp-SP and ITN among pregnant women in the study settings.
4.The health workforce factors related to knowledge affecting the delivery of IPTp-SP, ITN, and case management of clinical malaria among pregnant women in the study settings.
