Zika Platform and Malaria Supplement

Objectives

The USAID cooperative agreement supports 4 activities:

• Core funding of KCMUCo (Tanzania) and CREC (Benin) trial sites through LSHTM to allow their GLP certification and to build capacity for innovative vector control product testing
• Develop new application technologies to improve spraying campaign quality and performance
• Support access and information resource management (IRM) strategy implementation to anticipate how new products will be incorporated in vector control campaigns as well as the development of innovative funding mechanisms
• Support USAID Zika grand challenge by running projects through an External Scientific Advisory Committee to provide technical and scientific steering
