The West African Centre for Cell Biology of Infectious Pathogens (WACCBIP), in collaboration with the Centre for Proteomic & Genomic Research (CPGR), South Africa, is organising a 4-day training course in omics from November 11 to 14 at the University of Ghana.
The main purpose of the Foundation in Omics (FiO) course is to update and inform scientists of the availability of state-of-the-art technologies in Proteomics and Genomics and the applications thereof for the utility for research, translational or diagnostic test development endeavors. Quality control, related to these applications, is the foundation upon which the course is implemented. The FiO course emphasizes practical aspects such as project design and planning, sample quality control, and practical bioinformatics. All course components are presented by experts in dedicated areas of Genomics, Proteomics and Bioinformatics.
Interested persons can send applications (CV & short statement on how you would benefit from the course) to email@example.com.
