Highly-sensitive RDT evaluation study in Indonesia


The overall goal of this project is to assess the performance of highly-sensitive RDTs in the screening of asymptomatic pregnant women.

Rationale and Abstract
  • Outcome measures: (Individual level) Diagnostic accuracy (Sensitivity, specificity, negative predictive value, positive predictive value, diagnostic odds ratio (DOR) and the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve (AUROC).
  • Gold standard: qPCR, nPCR and LAMP
  • Comparators: PCR, qPCR, RDT, ELISA, LAMP
  • Population sample size: 275 pregnant women
